Topic3 - My Family

Hey, everyone, this week, I am going to tell you about my family and I :)

In appearance, my relatives and most of my friends always say that I look just like my dad, the shape of my face, the dimples, the eyes, the noses, the smiles, and the shape of my body. However, my curly hair is just like my mom.

In personality, luckily, I have both my parents'. My mom is talkative, enthusiastic, and independent. I have the same brave and passionate characteristics as my mom, so I like to join in a lot of activities, such as school clubs and volunteers. Also, I can make friends easily. And I am totally fine if I travel or go anywhere alone, sometimes I feel more relax and happy when I a alone. My aunts always say that I am just like what my mom used to be, because she joined lots of activities and made lots of friends, and was able to go abroad herself when she was young. But, I think she is still enjoying joining activities and making friends now, she doesn't change even though she is almost 50. Oh, it's time to talk about my dad! I think I inherited the talent of handy, logical, and easy-going from my dad. I like to fix things myself, and  making the cards of gifts myself. (My mom also teaches me how to sew and make some beautiful accouterments.) There are a lot of furniture in my home are made by my dad, they are not only practical, but also beautiful! I love them so so so much! And I think I am naïve sometimes, and this part of me is just like my dad.


Both of my parents like to laugh, so my brother and I really like to laugh, too. We are a optimistic family:) And we like to cook ourselves, we enjoy having big meals together on weekends or holidays! My dad has a excellent cooking skill, I love the dishes he makes so much!
Sometimes our family ride scooters to go to everywhere we want, no destination, no time limit, just for fun:)

I am appreciate to have those characteristics from my parents, all of these make me to be ME!

Topic2 - Career

    Since I am still a five-year-college student, I just had a part-time job before. Therefore, I am going to tell you my dream career.
    To be a flight attendant is my dream. Since I like to travel around the world, and I like to make friends, and I am interested in different cultures, I think to be a flight attendant is very suitable for me. Moreover, I hope that I can be one of the members in Emirates Airlines or Qatar Airways, because the welfare policy of the companies are very good, for examples, you can get ten free tickets for parents, and you can travel around the world though working! :)))

    That's my dream job, how about you guys? :D
   

Topic 1 - Getting To Know Each Other

Hi everyone,


I am Kristin Lin, a eighteen-year-old girl from Taiwan. I am studying in Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, a five-year college. My major is English, and minor in Japanese. 


Let's talk about my family. There are four members in my family, my parents and my brother who is two years older than me. We are living in a countryside, and my parents really enjoy the life there. They like to raise some livestock, such as chickens or ducks, just for the eggs. Also, we grow some vegetables, and plant some flowers and trees in our garden. My brother helps the work in garden frequently, but I seldom do. Oh, let's talk about my brother! We always fought when we were kids. However, we're just like good friends right now, we chat, discuss about each others worries, and sometimes have big meals together. He's interested!


I am very interested in music, so I like to listen to music and play guitar. I like to listen to the Billboard Top 100, no matter the Mandarin or English songs. I listen to music when I am doing everything. It makes me feel relax.

And I came to the U.S.A this summer, and the first month I visit my aunt in California, and during August I will visit my friends in Utah, and stay in there for a month!
